We note from your letter that you have practically remade a new book dealing with the same subject and that you are willing to transfer the Spanish rights of the new work to us under the same terms mentioned in our letter of January 26.- We should be very pleased indeed to publish this book in Spanish but we would like to see beforhand the manuscript in English as soon as it is ready. There is only one point that we wish to mention: we find that the length of the work is rather short, as we intend to give an uni form length to the volumes of the new series on economics. Could it be possible for you to add some other study which might bring the vo lume to more or less the same length as Prof. Condliffe's "RECONSTRUCTION OF WORLD TRADE"? We hope that you will be able to comply with our wishes. As for the date of publication, you may rest assured that our translation would be out within the limit of time mentioned in your letter, viz.: April 30, 1943.
