In my last letter I asked your permission to translate your recent work, The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science into Japanese. I have already got permission from the William Volker Fund as copyright holder. If you, as author, could give me permission to translate it into Japanese, I would be very much obliged. Judging from my experience in Japan, education of sound economics should start by teaching sound episte- mology and methodology in economics. At present I can- nott tell who will be the publisher and how to finance it, but in order to discuss with some prospective pub- lishersI need a manuscript of the translation to show them.
