Dear Dr. von Mises:
1. You will remember that a Dr. A. Klaasen, Associate
Professor of Economics and Business, at Hope College,
Holland, Michigan wished to get your permission to publish the
first part of "Profit and Loss" in an economics reading book that
he was publishing. When I cleared the matter at this end, I left
the final decision on the matter to you. Upon my return from
Europe I find a letter in which he says that he has written you
"at the address you gave me, " which was the hotel at Seefeld.
2.
There was a second inquiry which I intended to talk
to you about at Semmering, but did not. It came from
Etas-Kompass, an Italian company. I enclose the correspondence I
have received from them, and also my reply dated July 20, 1964.

We shall be glad to do anything that you instruct us to do,
if you do not wish to handle the matter directly with the people
involved.
With kindest regards to you and Mrs. von Mises from everybody
here,
Yours very truly,
Frederick Nymeyer

P. S. The last paragraph in Klaasen's letter to me reads:
"We shall be happy to send both of you copies upon publi-
cation."
