Dear Margit:
I am enclosing a Xerox copy from the June issue of
The American Economic Review: the page in memory of
Professor Mises. You will probably notice that almost
none of the suggestions which you had forwarded to me went
into the printed copy. I had expected to receive galley
proofs and to make the insertions at that time. Finally
I telephoned the Editorial Office and learned that the
piece was already at the printer, not only in galley, but
already in the definitive page. I was only able to request
two small changes that would not alter the length of the
line.
I believe that the result is still quite satisfactory
and I hope you will like it too. I hope they will send me
reprints. If so, I shall pass them on to you.
We have again been in Europe and will leave next week
for the fifth time this year. We shall return in the middle
of September. I firmly hope that I will then have a chance
to see you. With best wishes for a pleasant summer, I am
Sincerely yours,
Frilf
