Lawrence Fertig to Ludwig von Mises Memorandum, July 16, 1968
Memorandum from LAWRENCE FERTIG
July 16, 1968
Dear Lu:
I enclose an invitation to the dinner
for Leonard and the Foundation which just arrived
on my desk.
Please note that you are on the dais
and will be expected to say a few words. In view
of the fact that we will have a number of speakers,
remarks will be quite brief, probably five to
seven minutes. I'll talk to you about this in
detail sometime before the end of the summer.
It remains very hot and sultry in New
York and we're very happy to know that you're in
the country enjoying the clear air.
No special news here. Did you note the
attached article in the Wall Street Journal about
Martin Anderson? As you know he's a great admirer
of yours, and he is quite important in shaping
Nixon's economic ideas.
Berthy and I send our love to you and
Margit. I'll call you one day soon when we can
have a chat on the telephone.
Kanny
