Thank you so much for the endeavors
you have taken to be helpful to me. It is with a deep feeling of
gratitude that I have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of
the 18th inst. I value highly the kindness that prompted you to
act for me. Even if the obstacles could not be overcome, I shall
have the great satisfaction of your help.
This morning I had the answer of the
William Volker Fund. Mister H. C. Cornuelle writes : 11 We will
immediately get in touch with the Foundation for Economic Educa-
tion and ascertain, in addition, the possible attitude of the
