Ludwig von Mises to William Francois Letter, March 28, 1963
March 28, 1963
Mr. William Francois
(Les Essais)
25, rue Jean-Dolent
Paris (XIV)
France
Dear Mr. Francois:
It is with great pleasure that I accept your
and Mr. Hamilius's suggestion to have parts of my
book Liberalismus, first published in German in 1927,
translated into French and published in your Essais.
I am looking forward to the copies of the Essais you
promised to send to me.
As Professor Hamilius has a full command of
the German language, I would suggest that the trans-
lation should be made from the German text. I could
provide Professor Hamilius with a copy of the orig-
inal German edition.
I am mailing a carbon copy of this letter to
Professor Hamilius.
Kindest regards
Sincerely yours,
