Dear Professor Pratt:
Just a line today to tell you that your
most interesting letter of November 10 reached me
this morning and that I read it with the greatest
possible gratitude for you as well as for our
friends Mises and Heilperin.
As I wish these lines to leave today, I
say no more, but I shall do my best very shortly
to answer the various questions you raise.
As you perhaps know, Professor Manley 0.
Hudson, of Harvard, former Judge at the Court of
The Hague, is a member of the Executive Council
of this Institute. It seems to me that he would
be the logical person to head the sponsoring com-
mittee. My suggestion is of course purely tenta-
tive, as there may be American reasons against that
choice.
Again pending a full answer shortly, I
am, with warm regards and heartfelt thanks.
Sincerely yours,
William E. Rappard.
