Ludwig von Mises to Louis Baudin Letter, January 12, 1955
January 12, 1955
Monsieur le professeur Louis Baudin
10, Place du President Mithouard
Paris VIIe, France
Dear Friend:
I was shocked to learn from the letter you wrote
to my wife that you have not yet fully recovered. I do
hope that in the meantime your state of health has greatly
improved and that you are again continuing your brilliant
work as an author and a teacher.
I myself am now fairly well. Of course, the
doctors advise me to take things easy and not to overwork
myself.
I
would have written you sooner. But I wanted
to wait until all bureaucratic problems that delay the
publication of your Inca book will have been solved.
Next week the manager of the Volker Fund will visit
New York and I think that on that occasion also this
issue will finally be decided.
With all good wishes for a Happy New Year.
Cordially yours,
Dear Professor Baudin:
Thanks for your kind letter. I am confident
that my husband and I will next year be able to attend
the Mont Pelerin conference and will meet you on this
occasion as well as in Paris. With best wishes for a
speedy recovery and for a Happy New Year 1955.
Sincerely yours,
