Greetings:
Church changed "all operations of selection" to effectively
calculable operations of selection," motivated by his thought that,
with TRIVIAL EXCEPTIONS, no sequence can satisfy fon Mises criterio.
All vs NO or negation ..is the foundation of Ushenko's theory of
logic, in which logis is defined as the SCIENCE OF POS SIBILITIES,
independent of the ACTUAL (and/or effectively calculable operations)
history of the world.
For "random sequence" as one, whose limiting success ratio
is invariant in making EFFECTIVELY CALCULABLE GIGANTIC NEW SCIENCES
OF POSSIBILITIES in all areas simultaneously, THE ELECTRONIC COMPUTER...
That corresponds exactly to Keynes "belief that much unnecessary
perplexity can be avoidedif we LIMIT outselves strictly to the two units,
money and labor, when we are dealing with the behaviour of the
economic systems as a whole 11 IE? AS AN"ALL."
It so happens that the modern industrial system is built on just
such a limiting to money and labor
industrial time and motion study.
BUT, where Anderson critizes Keynes uni of quantity as "empty and
telling us no thing about economic life, the time study unit is full
and
not only tells us plenty about economic life, but as indicated
in enclosure X, IT CAN REVOLUTIONIZE ECONOMIC LIFE, for one and all
the world around, Capitalism, The Creator, of which Von Mises says
"the characteristic feature of capitalism WAS AND IS mass production for
the needs of the masses and, in his capacity as consumer, the
COMMON MAN IS THE SOVEREIGN.
Since Von Mises quotes Anderson, yet says "IF IT WERE POSSIBLE
(BY ANY SCIENCE OF POSSIBILETIES..ie, by a LOGIC, capable of instantly
integrating any random sequence of materials by any or all operations
of selection by anybody) to EXPOUND THE OPERATION OF CAPITALISM in one or
two short addresses, it would be a WASTE OF TIME to keep students of
economics for several years at the universities."
The Harvard Report aske for the invention ff just such an
overall logic. It is here indicated as entirely capable of expounding
the operation indifferently of capitalism, theoretical physics, higher
math or what name you, one and all.
