AMERICAN OPINION
An Informal Review

Dear Dr. Mises:
Thank you SO much for your suggestion that we approach Yale
regarding a reprint from your new revised edition of Human
Action. That has long been one of our most favorite of all
books, and since Yale has approved, we will certainly be
publishing pages 279-287 of the new revised edition in October.
Our portrait painter, Mr. Daniel Michael Canavan, is himself
a New Yorker and a fine Conservative. Would you be kind
enough to forward to him such photographs of yourself as you
think good likenesses and which you can spare? He usually
asks that a color photograph be included, or minimally, a color
description as to the shade of eyes, hair, flesh tones, etc.
Mr. Canavan's address is: 2296 Andrews Avenue, Bronx 68,
New York. Telephone 367-8458. Your cooperation will be
greatly appreciated by both Mr. Canavan and ourselves.
Certainly we ought to add that we have asked Dr. Hans Sennholz
to review a number of your books for the October issue.
With every good wish,
Scott Stanley, Jr,
Managing Editor
