DATES: September 11th to 16th (morning) 1967. PROGRAMME: September 11th Monday (Morning) Arrival of the members and opening lunch (Afternoon): Session on "Fundamental Constitutional Problems - Democratic Constitution and Liberalism" (Evening): "Champagne d'honneur" offered by the Maire of Vichy. September 12th Tuesday (Morning and Afternoon): Session on "Practical Actions in order to affirm Liberalism in Present Circumstances". (Evening): "Courses en nocturne" (Horse races at the famous hyppodrome of Vichy). September 13th Wednesday (Morning and Afternoon): Session on "The teaching of Economics at the present" (Evening) Theatre ("Une folie" by Sacha Guitry) or "Revue" (according to the choice of each participant at the meeting) September 14th Thursday (Morning): General Meeting of the Society. (Afternoon): Excursion and visit to several "chateaux" and reception offered by the Count and Countess de Chabannes at the famous Château de la Palisse. September 15th Friday (Morning and Afternoon): Session on "Present Economic Tendencies and Policies in several main countries". (Evening): Dinner at the Rotonde du Lac. September 16th Saturday (Morning) Departure. For each topic only a few short working papers are envisaged, in order to enable all the participants to participate in the discussions. HOTELS: All the participants will be lodged in "Four Stars" de luxe Hotels in Vichy. They can take their own meals at the hotels (continental breakfast, light lunch and "diner gastro- nomique" in the French way), or, at their request, they can take only breakfast in their hotels and get "coupons" for lunch and dinner in other restaurants at Vichy.
