Dear Professor & Mrs. Mises:
Congratulations on the 92nd anniversary of Professor Mises. Taking
this happy occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to you for
all you have inspired me in the study of the sound economics and
philosophy since my attendance in your seminar in New York University.
As a token of my appreciation, enclosed please find an international
money order of $100.00.
For the first time, I attended a meeting of the Mont Pelerin Society
held in Guatemala this September. I was greatly impressed with the
profound understanding of your works on the part of Spanish speaking
members participated in the meeting. Your influence over the Latin-
American countries is certainly overwhelming. It behooves me to
propagate the sound economics and philosophy in Japan!
Yours sincerely,
Joshio Murata
Toshio Murata
P.S. Mrs. Greaves wrote to me that you had kindly sent to me a copy
of the Japanese translation of THE THEORY OF MONEY AND CREDIT. I do
thank you for remembering me this way.
