I shall have a stencil cut and will send you a few copies; also to Dr. Von Mises. I will hold the stencil. I have no intention presently to distribute this widely, but what Dr. Von Mises says in regard to circumstances in back- ward countries should, I think be a part of the missionary message of Christianity in China, India, etc. But missionaries generally do not know the significance of Dr Von Mises or this subject. The copies which I am having made I therefore intend to distribute discretely among missionaries who get PROGRESSIVE CALVINISM, men as Mahaffy in Eritrea (who recently wrote for THE FREEMAN), Robert Sutton, a thoroughly capitalistic minded young messionary in Tokyo, a Rev. Schuring who is just coming back from service as a missionary in Ceylon, etc. I might also send copies of this to the twenty or so men who constitute the Mission Board of the Christian Reformed Church. I would not send it, however, without sponsoring it 11/10 -- that is, more than 100%; excuse my hyperbole. Many of the men on the Mission Board are leftish minded and will "react." However, the policy of the Mission Board in the past has been to kill me by silence. What they cannot answer they ignore. Eventually I may write extensively on the economic conditions of a mission program. In that case I shall, of course, draw completely on everything that Dr. Von Mises has written.
