Frederick Nymeyer to Ludwig von Mises Letter, January 31, 1964
FREDERICK NYMEYER, 16546 South Park Avenue, South Holland, Illinois, U.S.A.
January 31, 1964
Dr. Ludwig von Mises
777 West End Avenue
New York 25, New York
Dear Dr. Mises:
The A.V.C. Corporation meeting which I expected
to attend on Wednesday, February 5, has been cancelled;
and consequently, I shall not be in New York at that time.
We ran a two-thirds page ad on PLANNING FOR
FREEDOM in National Review, page 76 in the January 28, 1964
issue. We have received a surprising number of replies,
much better than from The Freeman.
One of my sons has been urging for a long time
that we use the National Review; he proved to be right
in this case.
Our stock of PLANNING FOR FREEDOM is now down
to 238 books. We have received an industrial inquiry
for a discounted price for 250 copies.
We plan to make a new printing in the next
several months.
As you know, we added an essay to the second
edition. We found that squeezing that in and making all
the changes was a lot of work, and we now think in terms
of having the third printing be unaltered from the second
printing. If you have any ideas to the contrary, we
shall be glad to hear from you.
With kindest regards,
Yours very truly,
Frascrick Nymeyer Hymeya
Frederick
