DEAR SIR (or MADAM),
I am directed to inform you that the ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING of the Society will be held at The London School
of Economics, Houghton Street, Aldwych, W.C., on
Thursday, June 24th, at 5 p.m.
AGENDA-
I. To receive the Auditor's Report. (Abstract of Accounts within.)
2. To receive the Secretary's Report.
3. To elect the President, Council, and Officers for the year
1948-49.
4. To appoint an Auditor and to fix his remuneration.
A List of the Fellows recommended by the Council (in
accordance with the Bye-laws of the Society) for Election as
President, Council, and Officers for the ensuing year, is annexed.
After the transaction of the formal business set forth above,
a DISCUSSION will be introduced by Lord Brand, who will
speak on
Private Enterprise and Socialism-a Banker's View.
He will be followed by Sir Arnold Plant.
Tea will be served at 4,15, before the Meeting.
