Ludwig von Mises to Robert B. Raisbeck Letter, January 19, 1962
Mr. Robert B. Raisbeck,
(Project Alert),
Suite 403,
3434 W. 6th Street,
Los Angeles,
Calif.
January 19 1962
Dear Mr. Raisbeck:
It will be a pleasure for me to cooperate with
your organisation's Project Alert.
However the plan you develop in your letter of
January 15 is not of the kind I have in mind.
In a lecture of approximately ten minutes it is
not possible to explain to highschool students any of
the many economic problems. At least I am unable to do
so.
I understand that you are not firmly committed
to the treatment you suggested. So I think that we
both could elaborate a better program. As I will
probably be in Los Angeles from February 22 (evening)
until February 25 (morning) we could meet and discuss
your program as well as my participation in its
execution.
Sincerely yours,
