Dear Sir:
I wonder who is to stand up FOR intellectual freedom
and economic freedom? Certainly neither the FCC and Mr.
Minow, and certainly not those behind the Anti-Trust laws.
Rather they are both rampaging against these great concepts.
Mr. Minow wishes to replace the consumers of television,
and the Anti-Trust faction wishes to replace the consumers
of the market. The realization of both these wishes is
the actual, living totalitarian state, a state in which its
citizens are subjected to authority and the officials who
make all decisions in the "public interest". The citizens
are reduced to the state of mere serfs.
I would like to protest against this infringement of
my freedom as an individual with the potential of a consumer.
I believe in making my own decisions.
Sincerely,
Jan Jay Rohr Roler
