He indicates that he has talked to you about this proposed program. He is petitioning the Fund for financial support to the pro- gram. For various reasons, the Directors of the Volker Fund feel unable to make a grant to this organization. However, they would be anxious to pay directly to you whatever expenses were involved in making this lecture appearance and including a nominal honorarium of $100.00. If you do wish to appear for such a lecture on this basis, would you com- municate directly to Mr. Wirt the fact that your expenses can be taken care of in this way. I was greatly pleased to have the opportunity to see you and Mrs. Mises at French Lick last month. I will look forward to another visit with you in the fall.
