Henry Regnery to Chester Kerr Letter, May 28, 1965
May 28, 1965
Mr. Chester Kerr, Director
Yale University Press
149 York Street
New Haven, Connecticut
Dear Mr. Kerr:
I am writing to you again about von Mises' HUMAN ACTION.
When we last discussed the project several months ago by
telephone, you told me that you were looking into the possi-
bility of correcting the present plate, and would let me know
soon whether these could be used again.
From what I have been able to dis cover, it will probably be
best, if we take over the book, that we reset the whole thing.
In view of this, would it be possible for you to relinquish pub-
lication rights to the author so that we could enter into a new
contract with him? There will still be some details to be worked
out on our part, but I could go ahead with these if you would let
me know, whether, in principle, you would agree to this proposal.
It would be greatly appreciated if I could have a prompt reply.
Sincerely yours,
HENRY REGNERY
President
