Henry Regnery to Ludwig von Mises Letter, March 28, 1965

Professor Ludwig von Mises
777 West End Avenue
New York, New York

Dear Professor von Mises:
We greatly enjoyed your lecture at Northwestern and the
opportunity to see your wife and you again.
I have still heard nothing from the Yale Press. I have just
written to them, and will enclose a copy of my letter. The
procedure I have suggested would be the best way to go about
the whole thing, but it remains to be seen whether they agree.
I think that I maybe able to get a foundation to advance the cost
of resetting the book, which would be the only way we could go
into the project. I have talked to two foundations in a prelimi-
nary way, and both expressed interest, but I can't ask for any
sort of firm commitment until we have heard from Yale Could
you, by the way, send me a copy of the present edition of the
book? I have repeatedly asked for a copy, but have never have
received one from Yale.
Henry
I will enclose a circular we have sent out to all professors of
economics. If there are any books on this list you would like
Regnery
to see I would be glad to send them to you. I send my warmest
regards to your wife and you.
Company
Sincerely yours,
