Henry Regnery to Ludwig von Mises Letter, December 20, 1966
December 20, 1966
Professor Ludwig von Mises
777 West End Avenue
New York 25, N.Y.
Dear Professor von Mises:
We have finally received finished copies of HUMAN ACTION.
I will have two sent to you separately. The regular editorial
copies, I believe, go to Yale University Press.
The book, I think, turned out very well. When we reprint,
which I hope we shall do before too long, I think we should
use a darker binding, but that is no great matter. The type is
good, the printing clear, and I hope that there are a minimum
of errors - it was certainly carefully proofread. We have
shipped an order for 500 copies to Leonard Read at FEE, and
have a fair number of orders from bookstores and others, all
of which are going out now.
I was glad to have had the chance to see you and your wife,
if only briefly, at the FEE Meeting. My wife was sorry not to
be able to come, but she was spending the weekend with her
mother, who is now 88 and still very well, in Philadelphia.
She joins me in sending our warmest regards to your wife and
Henry
you and our best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Regnery
Sincerely yours,
Company
