Dear Dr. von Mises:
You will recall that in January we corresponded about a feature length
article by you on your experiences with the economic crises in Austria,
and the applicability of that experience to America's current monetary
difficulties. You thought at that time to find time to prepare such a piece
for a fall issue.
Can you at this time commit to an October 1st deadline? One reason that
we are SO persistent in requesting a firm date is that we hope to feature
your portrait on the cover of a fall issue in our series on great men. We
would also like to ask Dr. Sennholz to review several of your great books
for that number, and we are anxious to firm up a date for the consumation
of these plans.
With every good wish,
Party

P.S. We do hope that you have had an opportunity to see Hans Sennholz's
splendid article on inflation in our May number. SS
