Professor Ludwig von Mises
C.O. Hotel Gehrhus
Berlin-Grünewald
Dear Professor von Mises:
Thank you for your card of July 31 I could only read
when here on the 16th of August. I had been in Ne-
therland with my family and was glad to meet Dr. Jitta
there.
I was so sorry to hear that you had already left Paris
on my return, otherwise, I would have come there; after
all Paris is less far from here than Berlin!
On my return I also could read the Mont-Pèkerin So-
ciety program. I regret the more not to be there,
first, as I shall miss your what I think will be a
very excellent exposé, second, as I feel rather dis-
couraged owing to the Suez situation and would have
been supplied with a good lot of encouraging ideas
and thoughts.
If you ever see a possibility to pass over here with
Mrs. von Mises, kindly inform me; my phone number
is mentioned above.
Please urge Dr. Hunold to let me have a copy of all
the papers, etc of the meeting available and if
possible, do send me please already now a copy of
your " The economic strategy of the Soviets. "
Kindly give my greetings to Mr. Read, Loren B. Miller
and Dr. Felix Morley whom I could meet in the U. S.
I dare hope to meet them once more very soon, maybe
even here.
Mes hommages à Mistress von Mises.
Sincerely yours,
Maria Live for
P. S. : So sorry I cannot come to Berlin.
X Mr. Inschrition
