Dear Dr. Mises:
We are enclosing a check of $800 which is a
royalty payment on 4,000 copies of PLANNING FOR FREEDOM
which we are in the process of having reprinted.
Previously, we have run 2,000 at a time (except
the first time), and in order to endeavor to lower the
cost per book, we have printed 4,000 this time.
If sales continue as well as they have in the
last year or two, the 4,000 will last us maybe three years.
We do not have an opinion which, we are confident, is
trustworthy as to whether sales will increase or decrease
from the level of the past year; we hope for the best.

Mrs. Nymeyer and I were three weeks in Europe
altogether. From Stresa we travelled for one day to
Zurich where I called on two banks; the trip was very
helpful to me in clarifying my thinking. Then via Milan,
we went to Ravenna where we spent four days; Ravenna was
alive with substantial excitement because the birth of
Dante 700 years previously was being celebrated; I shall
not bore you with the details. Then we spent five days in
Rome. After taking the customary tours, I bought a guide
book and spent two days of time perambulating over the
ancient ruins of the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, etc.
;
it "infuriates" me when I read a history book and cannot
"visualize" correctly just where and how things happened.
Thereafter, we spent three days in Naples, visiting an
active little volcano, Pompeii and Capri.
Am I glad that I am back home
When a man has
to travel in order to please his wife, marriage is a great
burden!!
With kindest regards to you and Mrs. von Mises
from both of us,
Yours very truly,
Jusewek
Rymager
